The Kludi showroom on Bartók Béla Road opened in 2007 in a loft-style space to offer a new interpretation of contemporary bathroom design. The three-fronted, high-ceilinged space was defined by its central elements – a glass-box gallery, a raised platform, and a shared work island – creating an inspiring environment where interactive exploration and the transfer of professional knowledge were placed at the forefront.
The open character of the showroom also made it suitable for hosting events, thus serving the needs of customers, architects, and interior designers alike. The strategically defined approach, consciously expressed in materials and details, remains relevant today. Since 2017, the space has been operated as an open community venue by DEFO Lab under my direction.
