The reorganization of the three-storey Bauhaus villa in Buda was designed for a family with one child. When reinterpreting the interior spaces inherited from previous renovations, the original staircase and load-bearing wall sections represented the main constraints. Responding to these, a unified and permeable spatial logic was created, which clearly organizes the functions across all three levels.
The interior design concept is based on restrained, timeless materials: black hot-rolled steel surfaces and oak flooring form a distinctive pairing. The kitchen–living–dining area, bedrooms, utility room, and children’s play zone are connected into a continuous spatial experience; the original staircase acts as the structural and spatial backbone of the house. The neutral base and subtle color geometry result in a generous and inspiring living environment.
