I work as both an architect-designer and creative director in mutually reinforcing roles, with a dynamic and comprehensive perspective. I graduated from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, and later gained professional experience in Budapest and Stockholm.
In 2002, I founded my own studio, where I work at the intersection of architecture, design, and strategic thinking. I oversee my projects from concept development through to realization – with the aim not only of meeting clients’ expectations, but of opening up new possibilities through the final outcome.
Our studio brings together architects, designers, artists, and trend researchers in an interdisciplinary environment. Our work often extends into related fields – from landscape architecture to gastronomy and fashion – creating a kind of creative ecosystem.
Inspired by international influences, including Giulio Cappellini and Piero Lissoni, I established my own showroom in downtown Budapest. Through my active international connections, I contribute to shaping Hungary’s contemporary design scene.
In 2007, together with Panni Dávidházy, we founded Defo Labor, which explored the cultural significance of design through exhibitions, lectures, and educational programs in collaboration with both Hungarian and international creators.
From 2025 onward, I continue this work under the name Defo Concept Space: a dynamic creative platform organized on an invitation-only basis.
